Work-related low back injury?...See Below!

Are You a WSIB Patient?

Were you injured at work?  Then the cost of your treatments may be fully covered by WSIB (workers' compensation).  However, there can be considerable "red tape" when it comes to compensation claims.

At our office, we will help guide you through the whole WSIB process.  If your claim is accepted, we'll start you on a thorough rehabilitation program to get you back in shape.  If your claim is rejected, we will make alternate arrangements with you for your care.

WSIB Workplace Safety & Insurance Board

What is the WSIB and will my claim be accepted?

The Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), formerly known as the Workers' Compensation Board (WCB), covers the full cost of chiropractic care in Ontario if all of the following is TRUE.

  • You were injured at work.
  • You reported your injury to your employer (without undue delay).
  • You and your employer will file an injury report with the WSIB.
  • This is a new injury.  (call us if you are trying to re-open a claim)
  • You have not gone to your family physician or another clinic more than one time  for this same injury.
  • Your workplace is registered with WSIB and you were not injured in self-employed work.

Some other conditions and restrictions may apply.  Call us at (519) 886-3191 if you have any questions about your situation.

For more information about WSIB and how it works, please visit their website at www.wsib.on.ca or call them 1-800-265-2570 or the Kitchener Office at (519) 576-4130.
