Many private insurers/group benefit plans offer coverage for chiropractic health care.  If you have extended health benefits, check your plan for specific details.  Currently, electronic claims submission for chiropractic treatments is not available.  Upon your request, we will gladly provide you with statements for paid visits, which you may be able to submit to your insurance company for complete or partial reimbursement. 

The fee schedule for which you are responsible is as follows: 

Block fees are only available for adult subsequent visits.  Discounts have already been applied for students, seniors and children.  Children are 0-16 years old.  Students are 17 to 25 years old and enrolled in a recognised education program.  Seniors are 65 years and older.  Fees for services not listed above are available upon request (e.g. orthotics, house calls, emergency visits and reports).  If you have any questions regarding the fee schedule or private insurance coverage, please ask our receptionist.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

Please make every effort to keep your appointments.  If you need to re-schedule an appointment, please call us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can make your appointment time available to someone else.  A charge of $10.00 may be applied for missed appointments.

Notice To All Patients:

The Ontario Liberal Government delisted chiropractic care co-payments from its list of insured services on December 1st, 2004.  This essentially shifted the cost to Ontarians and their extended health insurers.

The chiropractic profession was saddened by this action.  If you, wish to voice your concerns regarding these and other cuts to health care in Ontario, please visit the Ontario Chiropractic Association Website.

 If you have Extended Health Benefits from work, the elimiation of OHIP may assist you in accessing chiropractic care through private insurance without any out-of-pocket costs (i.e.. you will be better off without OHIP).  Check your benefits for specific details. 

If you do not have any benefits for chiropractic care, our fees have only risen slightly.  We have attempted to lessen the effect by offering Block Fee Treatment Packages and new Student and Senior fees. 

Chiropractic care remains one of the most affordable and effective therapies available in Ontario for musculoskeletal injuries.  We are please to meet your health care needs.
